Tesco Rewards Token - Query

Hi All,

I have some rewards tokens leftover that I converted a while ago. On the front it says "Rewards Token" - when I got these ones, I intended to use them for a day out but you didn't have to say where you were going - you just put a value into your basket and that was it, since then however, Tesco have changed the ordering system and you now have to nominate your full reward i.e. name the restaurant or venue to which you are going.

My query is, does anyone know if you can use the old "Reward Token" in (designated) restaurants or was it just Days Out venues ...?

If it is valid (ie, less than 6 months old), it cannot used in restaurants. I had to send mine back for re-credit.
