My husband is a self employed tradesman and has a van he bought for work. I believe we can have this an expense on his self assessment. Is it a certain % of the cost we can claim each year or how does it work?

If it is a van - 100% of its cost - simple as that.0

Providing it is used 100% for business. If there is any private use the expense has to be reduced!0
