All for what? for a chance to work, any job will do.
And you have Britons who can't be bothered to cycle an hour to work. If this is a public sector job, it has to be close to public transport for community members to have access, so I doubt it's that far away from public transport.
On my first job I traveller 1h45m one way, I carred a heavy folding bike on my shoulders into the underground, and then when I got out, I unfolded the bike and cycled for half an hour to get to my place of work.
If you want to work you will find a way, you're being lazy. Even a decent runner will cost you only £1500. It's a small sacrifice, many students go through university, who will now be paying 9 grand a year, plus student loan to get a decent education. Buy a car to get to and from work is a tiny sacrifice.
You clearly haven't read the post.....0
