Tried Leicester Fosse Park today but bought nothing. There just wasn't anything particularly nice left. Lots of trousers at £9.99 though so with another 25% off they are a massive bargain if you are a Gap trousers wearer. My bum/legs/waist combination don't fit in them unfortunately - 10 too tight but 12 falls down.

lots and lots of stuff in my local gap store. Did buy some for myself. They also had similar coats in RED colour reduced to £6.99 down from £49.95 and after the`extra 25% off they were costing £5.25:shocked:. The women in front of me in que paying for it almost had a heart attack when she heared it. They were not marked down on the ticket. i think it was £19.99 on the ticket.

Anyone know if its 25% off today aswell? Asked a SA yesterday but she said it was dependant on how much sale stock was left so she didn't know. Spend £60 on Friday so was hoping to take stuff back and re-buy with the discount. Has anyone tried this? Some shops are a bit funny re-selling you what you return but with a potential saving of £15 I'm figuring its worth a try.:j
  • Loads of women's and kids clothes and a couple of nice jumpers for my husband. Thanks
  • Gap, in common with most other stores, won't let you rebuy stuff you take back if it becomes cheaper later on, even if you still have tags on and receipts. They will tell you they have to put the stuff back into the shop for 24 hours. This is a change from when Gap used to do what they called a price adjustment, when all you had to do was show them the receipt and they would refund you the difference if the price went down in the following 2 weeks.
I bought a pile of lovely things in Gap, gloves, jacket, trousers, cardigans, pyjamas, dressing gown etc all fab quality at knockdown prices. I bought them on Friday at the higher price and discovered they were taking an extra 25% off on Sat morning when I had to go back with something that was unsuitable. Most of the stuff I bought again while I was in there, as there were still some left, and then took the first lot from Friday back later on in the day. Time consuming but saved me another £20.
Some shops will let you come back and rebuy if you have forgotten to use a discount card say (Top Shop). Most are very strict about the policy, particularly M&S.
