    Wowser - amazing price this.
  • For anyone who missed out on this - like I did - these are now back in stock at sainsburys, just ordered one!
  • I got the 30L one when Amazon was doing it for £40 and it was worth every penny, excellent product!

    I need a new bin but I can't decide.
Round lid? Square lid? Pedal bin? touch open? Plastic? Metal?

touchbin a brilliant I have 50 litre version but if had choice now I go for a slightly smaller bin as they do smell in summer unless you have a large family

I've had this bin for 9 years mines the 50L one in silver. Still looks as good as new and back then it cost me £80.
  • Thanks for that I do need a new bin

We gave in laws one of these around two years ago (they wanted a new kitchen bin so we thought we'd get a good one). It is now shuvved outside in the rain probably will go to the tip although was still perfect. The reason being their council have brought in recycling and they have brought in the plastic council bins. We tried to explain a better way with a counter top small bin but they won't be told. I could cry!

Credit where credit is due. Jackie_B and LondonDreamer both posted about the Sainsbury's Brabantia bin reductions on 28/29th December, as the "deal" has been on since then just permanently out of stock (on the 50L ones anyway).

Lots of free advertising for Sainsbury's for an out of stock item - either get it in stock or remove it from the website.

I'm tempted to offer these bins for £25 on my website, just make them permanently out of stock, a la Sainsbury's.

  • Has anyone seen the 50l brabantia bags on offer anywhere??
