The trouble you've got here is a pattern of one or two days off at a time.
Not long enough to need a Doctor's note and within your sick pay. Your personnel people could well view these as 'duvet days', I've known people to be fired for similar patterns of behaviour.0 -

I'm finding this really difficult, I only call in sick when I absolutely am not fit for work, but there's no way of proving this is there? Short of asking the dr for a sick note for each time (which would be difficult as I might not be able to get an appointment before I go back (if I was just off one or two days, for example).0 -
No, you're right - there is no way of really proving it.
But you're really not doing yourself any favours by taking time off for 'stress'. Personnel will just look back on your records and when redundancies loom, your name will be in their minds - probably better to 'fight though' it.0 -
Are you sure this job is for you? Could you not start looking for another job that you would find easier to deal with? Or would being a stay at home mum be an option?
I have a 14 month old, and have had constant colds and bugs since he's been at nursery! Annoying isn't it?!?!

So it sounds like I'd be better off keeping my reason for being off to myself, as the sick note is vague.0 -

I am not totally sure Harry believes stress is real or how extreme it can be or he would not be suggesting you "power on through."
