Looking for reputable website for wildlife conservation jobs, or internships in Africa just wondered if anyone on here could help?

What are you ooking for and what skills do you have to offer? Best company to look at would be VSO.

\realistically, however, think long and hard about *why* you want to do this work. For most charities, teenagers who go out for a gap-year jaunt are more hassle than they're worth - they have to be looked after/babysat, trained, etc, etc and in reality are no actual use - it's only the money that students have to pay to do the activity that is of use. Otherwise they tend to be more hassle than they're worth.

Not trying to be rude - just realistic, having seen things from both side of the fence. You may be better off doing some voluntary work in the UK with a charity working in Africa and then just have a holiday somewhere in Africa at a later date.

If you've got any questions, just contact me...I work with a charity that operates in Africa, and have recently got on board with another African project (totally separate and much more political).
