Olympics: let your property and cash in?

Has anyone got any ideas, thoughts, experiences and warnings on the subject of cashing in on the demand for accommodation during the Olympics? I found a post from 2010, but nothing recent.

|t seems that even people in the home counties are putting their details online.

There will be plenty of accommodation available in London, as my son rents a house in Stratford and has had notice to quit, as the Landlord said ' There's a lot of money to be made out there from the Olympics'.

Many others will be facing the same, which is scandalous, he now has to start house hunting again, along with thousand of others I suspect.
