Giving clothes away - London
I want to give some clothes away yet don't want to just give them to a charity shop as I know they will get binned after a certain length of time if they don't sell. Freecycle also contains its fair share of people who are only looking for bags of clothes to sell. Does anyone know of any London causes that are looking for clothes? I'd be happy to give to anyone/thing worthy.

If you're female, then any women's refuge might be glad of what you have. If these are reasonably trendy clothes in small sizes, I might be able to make another suggestion, but could help to know where in London you live / work.
If male, any homeless shelters / organisations working with homeless people.
Also projects working with refugees.
London's a big place, but the local Salvation Army citadel may be a good starting point.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks for your reply. I am in North London and would be willing to travel anywhere about an hour from Kentish town on public transport.
Do you know how I would go about finding a women's refuge?
I would say some of them are reasonably trendy mostly H&M/Primark(barely worn though)/Topshop and a few other places, not necessarily small though (sizes about 12-20) so if you have any suggestions specifically for that sort of clothes it would be welcomed0
