Party Decoration Ideas...

My sister is getting married in June and we have few pre wedding functions where I want to decorate the house, and have some organza material as I wanted to do it myself to save on cash. Any ideas would be grateful on how I can put this together or other recommendations would be most appreciated. Many thanks

How about making white (or if she has a colour theme for her wedding use that) fabric bunting.
Candles/ tea lights in empty glass jars...you decorate them in different ways. 1. put sand in the bottom and then pop the candle in 2. glass paints in different colours 3. water with floating candles. You can dot them around the room, near the fire place, up the garden path or decorate the doorway.
Organza, make large bows and decorate chairs, door handles, the front door, drape from lampshades.
Sew fabric hanging hearts in the fabric colours of her wedding or plain white. Make a large one for the front door with their names on?
How about making a wishing tree using branches and place in a large plant pot, decorate with white fairy lights etc

Thanx for that... Thats some good ideas which I will be using. Any idea what I can use to stick up the organza drapes on the walls without ruining the walls as just had the house redecorated??
