Cheap warranties for PC's?

don't bother with expensive after sales waranties - you're covered by the sale of goods act for up to 6 years.

What does the sale of goods act say? Surely it doesn't mean that someone buying a new pc is entitled to have a replacement if it breaks within 6 years?!

If they're going to fail, 99% of the time they will fail in the first year so you are still covered by the warranty. If you are going to buy a warranty for a PC then you may as well just take the money and set fire to it.

The best warranty you can have is right here! The most likely hardware problem is a hard disk failure, but they're cheap and easy to replace. Just make sure you back up your data. EVen if you do buy a warranty make sure you back up your data!

Any problems with software, configuration etc., just post on here and someone will help. Also if you get help from here you'll actual learn a bit about your computer in the process which will help you in the future.
