    Warm some jam in the microwave to serve with them, goes great when served along with some whipped cream.

    I'm another one for grilled, crispy, streaky bacon, I usually have melted butter with this :)

    - Cinnamon and banana
    - Vanilla in the batter
    - Pretty much any fruit you can think of
    - Honey
    - I know it's a very British thing to do with pancakes but you can't beat some lemon and sugar.

    My husband loves American pancakes with sausages cut up added to the batter, and topped with bacon and a runny friend egg.
