Hello,
I've joined this sight in need of help of how to proceed with my idea. I have looked on google and have come across a few websites that 'help'.
Does Martin Lewis or anyone have any advice with this matter?. Who can i trust?

You could try going to https://www.ipo.gov.uk this is the website for the intellectual property office which has lots of information.
My OH wrote to them a few years back to ask for advice on the patent process.They sent back a huge envelope with loads of very useful information and step by step guides.
