Keep saving? Buy a cheaper property?
Aside from that its hard to give advice without people knowing more information.
Such as how much are you buying for and how have your raised the rest of the funds?
Do you have property in the UK with equity in it?
Are you employed in the UK? will you continue in employment in the UK?
How much do you earn?
What assets do you have? what debts?
Its certainly not impossible to get an unsecured loan of £19k. But it not wasy either and they generally aren't cheap (APRs are generally higher above £15k). You'd need to be a high earner, not already financially stretched and appear to be low risk to the lender (so a very good credit file, secure job, able to afford repayments, not likely to flit abroad and not pay etc).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi Tixy,
I'm about 100 years old and still live with my parents as I can't afford to buy in the UK. I have no debts but only have my lifes savings that still fall short of buying anything outright. It's clear that I'm stuck in the same situation forever more. I'm also self employed. I'll shoot myself now.0 -

If you are still living with your parents then you will be able to save a huge percentage of your earnings. Your outgoings will never be lower!!!0 -

It's called sarcasm. Reading between the lines they feel they are too old to still be living with their parents.
