Hi,
I'm 27 years old and a graduate, I did sports management at university and since university i worked for 2 years as a book keeper that did most accounting duties for the company and finance management. I have since worked for Santander for 2 years.
When I worked for the former company doing accounting I really enjoyed it and pushed my employers to get me some qualifications within this field to which they always promised and they never fulfilled - Im having a 'big year' and want to get the qualifications myself but time / cost is an issue - does anyone know of any way to get qualified other than university / opened university and of any companies who help people like me along?
Many thanks in advance

depends on the qualification. Have a look at BPP for AAT etc. It all takes time, and it all takes money. No short cuts really as there is quite a lot to learn and have verified in the way of professional standards. It's just a hazard of taking a job in something unrelated to your degree.
What do you mean by "help along"? Some companies will do time off for study or 50/50 funding, you would be doing very well to get more unless on a grad scheme. You could reapply to grad schemes of course, a few don't have limits on time since graduation.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0
