Hi everyone,
I am posting here because for a few years now we have been in debt. Its spiralling out of control and I have a gorgeous little girl who is nearly 1. I want to build a better life for myself, husband and daughter and need to believe that together we can do this!!
Ok so here is my confession our debts are totalling a massive near 30K eek!!!
Debt 1 - £7500 halifax loan
Debt 2 - £150.00 DP Card
Debt 3 - £3000 Halifax Credit Card
Debt 4 - £3750 Halifax Credit Card
Debt 5 - Mortgage loan (unsecured but runs term of mortgage - £13000
Debt 6 - Car Loan to in-laws £4300
Debt 7 - OD (roughly around 1200) I will have a better figure once I get paid at the end of the month.
So I am looking for help and advice as to what to do and how to tackle the situation, we have started budgeting our food bills, giving ourselves £10 per week spend and thats it for ourselves.
I aim to get our overdraft paid off and credit cards seriously down by Dec 2012!! Wish me luck and lets hope we can all help each other out with tips and motivation.

well done on taking the debt bull by the horns, so to speak.
