Almost forgot that I also got 72p tracked in quidco - bargain! So £7.27 for a series of 24. That will be £7.23 if they honour the original quidco on the £5.99.

If you missed out on this, then Amazon are selling the set for £23.97. Not quite the £5.99 bargain, I know, but certainly a lot cheaper than £49.99.

Just checked my mails and I got the mail offering 10% and the other saying it should have said £10.

I thought it was very generous of them, other few times I've tried these mis-prices and just had mail to say it was a mistake!

It's been a while since this thread was active, but I've only just tried to redeem that £10 voucher to discover the code now takes a 54% discount off your order not £10. Which i suppose is handy if you're buying a lot, but not if your order is only £12.98 and you banking on the code making it £2.98.

If you haven't redeemed your code yet and are saving it up for something special it might be worth checking to see how much you could save.

Does anyone have an email address for Play.com by the way? I've replied to the original email that was sent out with the discount code outlining the problem I'm having but have no idea if that will get through.

Just discovered something interesting - it does take off £10 if the item you choose is more than £10. I've tested it with the Pink Panther box set and it took the price down from £24.99 to £14.99.

But when I tried it on my original order of two books, one £6.99 and the other £5.99, it removed the £6.99 book altogether and left the total as £5.99.
