  • thanks OP, great find. just to let everyone know.....this deal is only worth it if you live nearby-all my local branches appear to be closed:( i nearly was tempted to travel to bristol (yes in moment of madness i got!!)couple of hours away until i looked at the train fare £50-which would make it not worth the effort as bumps price of t.v. to £85. also please do check to find out if the branch you intend to travel is open if you still think it is worth travelling more then 1 hour.. The website is not up to date. I was told they are closing brnaches as soon as nothing or very little there, which makes sense.

Popped along to the Merry hill store today around 11am. There were plenty of people milling about but to be honest nothing in store i would spend money on. The xbox/ps3 and wii games that they had marked down to 80% off were more expensive than i have purchased from elsewhere recently - e.g dj hero 2 game in best buy £4.99, purchased from Bee.com new and sealed £1.99.

There were a number of televisions in stock however these were priced in excess of £500 apart from one Samsung 22" that was £179.

The rest of the stock was either cables, DSi screen protectors, around 5 blu ray players priced at £199 to clear, 2 coffee makers priced at £84, Yellow kenwood kmix 2 slice toasters £22, 3/4 kenwood blenders £50. A few tv stands marked 90% off so reduced from £100 to £10.

These were all labelled the price you pay is xxx so this was the selling price at the time i were instore, im in no doubt that prices will come down more as the final few hours approach but i left empty handed.

Went into Cribbs an hour ago - 5 tellys (40-42 inch ex-display philips and lg £1000-1200 down to £500-600) a few dvds and CDs (never heard of them) and a few cables

Go if you want a galaxy tab silicon cover (50p) or a wii usb LAN converter (£2?) or firewire cables! They had plenty of those.

Certainly won't be worth going to tomorrow (Sat)

    http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/stores.aspx

If you follow this link then click: Find out when your local Best Buy is open it will show you a table with all stores and when they are due to close/ if they are already closed.

It looks as if tomorrow is the last day for ALL stores.
  • thats a shame, it would have been nice to know that someone else benefitted from it

There were loads of people happily clutching 22" ISIS TVs when I walked in. I asked a woman where she got her's from and she said they put a stack of them out & they were gone in seconds. I was literally seconds too late!

    Ahh well, c'est la vie!!:)

Thanks for the heads up anyway hun!
I got a few cheap PS3 games so didn't waste my journey.

Our closest store is 69.3 miles away, I was wondering why I had never heard of them.

Thanks to OP we now have a 16" ISIS TV in our kitchen - cost £49 but still a bargain. Also got some cheap memory and camera case. The 19" sets were all snapped up by early shoppers!
  • according to website all stores now closed
