TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DEATH VALLEY: SHARE TO KILL COMPETITION
The opening date for entries is 00:01 (GMT) 6 January, 2012 and the closing date is 23:59 (GMT) on 30 January, 2012.
The competition is only open to entrants with valid Facebook accounts except for the countries excluded in the Terms and Conditions, aged eighteen (18) or over at the date of entry.
One (1) caption per person, per video, per day.
There will be one (1) grand prize winner who will be the entrant submitting the most enthusiastic and creative caption, chosen by Promoter from among the twenty (20) captions with the most number of “Likes” at the conclusion of the competition period.
The next five (5) most enthusiastic and creative entries from among the twenty (20) captions with the most number of “Likes” at the conclusion of the competition period will also win prizes as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.
The grand prize winner will receive a trip for himself/herself and one (1) guest (aged twenty one (21) or over) to Los Angeles, California.
The grand prize winner and his/her guest must hold valid passports and any other necessary travel documentation (including, without limitation, visas where necessary).
The grand prize winner and his/her guest must be available to travel to the destination on 15 March 2012 and depart on 18 March 2012.
All prize winners are responsible for any other taxes and expenses not specifically mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.

1. Prizes: Grand Prize: The Grand Prize Winner shall receive a trip for himself/herself and one (1) guest (aged twenty-one (21) or over) to Los Angeles, California. The grand prize shall include: return economy class air travel for the Grand Prize Winner and guest from the nearest major airport to the winner’s home address (as stated in his/her entry) to Los Angeles, California; return transfers from the airport in Los Angeles to the accommodation for the Grand Prize Winner and guest; three (3) nights’ accommodation at a four (4) star hotel in Los Angeles (staying in one (1) double room); one (1) rental car for use during the trip; and $1,000 in spending money.
   The approximate value of the Grand Prize is USD$5,000.00 depending on where the Grand Prize Winner is resident.
   The Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest must hold a valid passport and driver’s license and any other necessary travel documentation (including, without limitation, visas where necessary) and are advised to obtain their own travel insurance.
   THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER AND HIS/HER GUEST MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL TO LOS ANGELES ON 15 MARCH 2012 AND DEPART ON 18 MARCH 2012. NO ALTERNATIVE DATES WILL BE AVAILABLE.
   THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER AND HIS/HER GUEST MUST ARRANGE TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE DEPARTURE AIRPORT (INCLUDING COSTS, IF ANY).
   Second Prizes: The five (5) semi-finalists who submitted the next most enthusiastic and creative Captions shall receive: One (1) MTV Tee-Shirt and MTV Hat. The approximate value of this prize is $50.
2. GRAND PRIZE WINNER AND GUEST MUST REGISTER ONLINE FOR ESTA IMMIGRATION AT HYPERLINK "HTTPS://ESTA.CBP.DHS.GOV" [url]HTTPS://ESTA.CBP.DHS.GOV[/url]. A REGISTRATION FEE OF $14 EACH IS REQUIRED AND MAY BE PAID ON EITHER A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD.
3. For the avoidance of doubt, the prizes do not consist of anything other than expressly set out in Term 7 above and no additional costs are included.
4. The winners of the prizes may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of acceptance of all the Terms of the competition prior to receiving the prizes.
5. The winners of the prizes are responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses not specified in the prize description.
6. The Grand Prize Winner and Second Prize Winners will be notified using the public profile contact information provided in their registration within twenty-four (24) hours of being determined and will receive written confirmation and full details of the Grand Prize by e-mail within seven (7) days of being notified that he/she is the winner. The entrant is responsible for the accuracy of the contact information provided in their public profile and for responding in the time period provided. Promoter is not responsible for entrants’ failure to respond in the time period provided.
7. The Second Prize winners shall receive their prizes in the post within sixty (60) days of being determined. The prizes shall be sent to the respective addresses provided when contacted by the Promoter.
