I wonder if an original Xbox subscription will work for it..

They are selling it in store too at £19.99 when you buy ANY xbox live game. Plus you get the points. Uhm if you buy the xbox set and game and take the game back you get the points and still the starter kit at £19.99 !!! My boyfriend is VERY undecive about games so took his game back for a no prob refund. His brother got the kit.But there are also pretty cheap games in store on live and you will need them anyhow , so not a bad deal.

Thanks to original poster for this, just went into game today and got mine for £19.99, did not say anything about having to buy an xbox as well though. I also bought an Xbox game as well anyway coz I noticed they had an offer on chart games for £0.99 when you trade in 4 old games (no football or wrestling games or repeats of same game), they had dead or alive ultimate for £34.99 or £0.99 with 4 games trade in, so I purchased 4 games from their preowned section for £24 and traded them straight in +£0.99 for dead or alive ultimate, staff gave me a funny look when I did it :-) but I don't care as I got a £34.99 game for £24.99. Cheapest I have seen this game online is £31.99 anyway so a great deal I think.

This offer finished yesterday - was available when I first looked but by the time I'd checked with son to see if he wanted it, it had gone up to £34.99. Phoned a local store today and the 'buy an X-box Live game and get the Live kit for £19.98' is still on.... Not sure for how long though.
