Eyes wide open!

Hi,
The past few weeks have been non stop posting letters, making phone calls, becoming my own financial adviser and scrutinizer :eek:
It's the best thing that could have happened to me....to open my eyes to the financial problems I have been ignoring for so long!
My DMP starts in Febuary:j Now, Im not getting too excited because I know that things can get a lot more difficult, before they get better.....hopefully!!! I think!!!! :rotfl:
Anyway, what I want to say is that for the first time in years, I actually feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Now I know I can continue to battle my creditors with more confidence and with the knowledge I have gained from the very kind and inspirational people on this forum.:):T

Okay, so now Im starting to budget for some house repairs that are long over due. This is spurring me on to do all those other little jobs around the house, starting with weather proofing it!
I've just submitted a request for new loft insulation to my energy supplier, (free). Ive fitted draft excluders to every door in the house (discounted).
Tomorrow i attempt to fit an energy monitor that I bought a year ago, and was still sitting on the side, waiting for me! :rotfl:
The other things on my list will have to wait till pay day now, but they will get done, eventually!
My house is once again becoming my home!
