Loan repayment problem
Hello All,
I too out a loan with HSBC after i came into some difficulty but no one there seems to be able to answer my questions about my loan or give a damn about my problem. At the time of taking the loan some bright spark decided that my monthly direct debit would be best suited to the 19th of the month based on when my monthly salary gets placed into my account. I have just discovered this in time for my first payment and found that they have set my payment to a day before payday, i don't have the funds to allow this direct debit to come out. No one at hsbc can tell me if the direct debit date is the actual due date of the account or if i have so many days to complete payment. Normally they allow so many days in case of problems but they have no idea. They are not sure if they can change future payments, if I will be charged or anything because there is nothing on the system about it, all they have is my loan amount information, the date of the Direct Debit and how many repayments i have to make.
All i need is 24 hours, as soon as the money is deposited i can instantly pay the amount as the loan is with the same bank as my current account.
Any advice, I don't want to be charged for late payment, get a bad referral or anything but they are just not helping.
