Thanks for your message, it has really helped, i dont want to just claim this for claiming sake i really think this person deliberately told me the wrong thing, as i was going to take a different loan as it was a better rate until he came out with all this graph stuff. I feel like a right idiot he just sucked me in and i thought i was doing it the right way. 3 different meeting with 3 different banks and the best would win.

Or in my case the biggest con man would win.

Anyway thanks for your comments i will keep you posted, i am calling customer services today.

I'm baffled as to what the different types of loan are that he was trying to describe.

It's not as if they have a wide range of different unsecured loan products!

Possibly done through a private banking relationship manager. They had access to non-standard loan products with different repayment options
