posting the as a new thread but also posted in a previous thread ive started.
have a few laibilty orders from unpaid council tax, set up a payment plan with the bailiff after he turned up at 6.30am one morning for the amount of £50 per month, made payment via rundles website on the argeed date, then got a letter yesterday from them saying i had broken the argeement.
Rang them this morning, and was told as i used the wrong reference number on my payment , i was supposed to start paying the highest outstanding order 1st then work down to the lowest, they class this as me breaking the argeement and they will be turning up to collect goods etc with the usual threats of calling the police to help them gain entry.
my question is what can i do, as far as im concered the argeement still stands and payment was made, and they have acknowledge that the payment was made, but i used the wrong reference number, didnt realise it would matter as end of the day, they have recd a payment on my account and everything is linked together on their systems. but they wont play ball and where very rude on the phone and basically no help not sure what i expect really.
so any pointers or advice would be most grateful
