Very Cheap Genuine Sky Remote

Hi all, just recieved a Sky remote from this lot for £9.99 ex VAT. There is a £4.50 p&p charge but if like me you spend over 30 quid p&p is free. Its an official phillips remote, unlike some of the other online "deals" ive been suckered into which send you something that looks like a sky romte but certainly doesnt work like one!

They are available on eBay from reputable sellers for £10.00 delivered.

Yes genuine latest grey model ones.
  • I ordered my spare remote from the interactive section on Sky. They added £1.50 to my next sky bill and I got the remote within seven days. It is even one of thise that you can flip open and has a small keyboard inside. I cant remember how what options I selected but I got the instructions from someone on here.
  • try this - don't know if it still works!

Following on from THIS thread the Sky Navigator remote control is back on offer. Although not free anymore it's still only £1.50 (Cost of the call) which is a good price for an extra remote which can also control SKY+

Found the instructions but I am not sure if the offer is on at the moment. They normally have it on for a month or so then take it off for a bit and add it on again after a while.

    Details:

Make sure you telephone line is plugged into your skybox

    1. Press "Interactive".
    2. Press 5 for "Sky Customer Service".
    3. Press Green for "A-Z".
    4. Press 4 for "G-I".
    5. Select "Info & Service".
    6. Press 2 for "Get Sky Navigator", then follow the intructions.

Sky need to know your address to send this out, so if you subscribe or get any letters/magazines/offers from them relating to your viewing card then you will be ok.
  • wow, looks like I should have shopped around a bit more!

Not too upset though as I got some free advice re my TV set up from the very friendly man at the company i bought the remote from that would have cost me an arm and a leg if id have called an "expert" out to my house. Some digital tv installers are worse than plumbers for fleecing you arnt they!
