Hi, i will keep this as brief as possible,
my sister had her house repossessed in october, she has been living in her car since, the council have offered a rent guarantee scheme but no agencies will touch her as she has a ccj.
i found out yesterday lowells have made her bankrupt, she has no knowledge of this as papers have been sent to her house.
what can i do to help her?,she has managed to keep her job while living in her car,she lives hundreds of miles from me and i am not in a position to help at all.
lastly can she use her bank account still, the only reason she knows she is bankrupt is because i found the notice by chance, she is nearly 60 years old and i am so worried for her,any advice you can give would be so appreciated,
thankyou.

Well the first thing is to get her to conact her official receiver, who can explain the current situation to her, depending on what account she has it is likely that she will need a new bankruptcy friendly one and most people here use the coop or Barclays and this is usually one of the first things that needs to be doneHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
