Ggggrrrr@Halifax - what to do now?

I've recently balance transferred the full amount owing on my Halifax card to my virgin card, and was hoping that Halifax would increase my credit limit from 2800 to 5000 to enable me to balance transfer my barclaycard but Halifax have refused :mad: :mad:

Is it better for me to close the Halifax account altogether or balance transfer some of the crippling Barclaycard debt to it? The Halifax card is 12.9% and is completely clear and the Barclaycard is £5500 owing at differing interest rates - I stupidly withdrew £2k from it pre-lightbulb.

Any ideas on what to do next? I really don't think I'm going to get a credit card with a big enough limit to transfer Barclaycard to it.

If you can get a bt at a rate lower than the one than the one you are paying on the barclaycard then I would transfer as much as possible.

As martin says, don't cut your nose off to spite your face!
