First Direct Mortgage Offer Error (3 yrs on)

I have received a letter from FD advising the mortgage offer letter and/or the key facts document, supplied 3.5 yrs ago had an error on it.
The error was incorrect fees and an underestimation of the amount to be repaid on the mortgage overall and per £ borrowed.
The letter is very clear in that I have been paying enough, not hard as i overpay on an offset product.
My question really is does this affect the agreement i entered in to?
Am i right in assuming the key facts and mortgage offer documents are legally binding? If so, does this make the contract voidable.
I am tied into a 6% deal for another 18 months with £2k in fees to get out of it. Obviously FD are moving on that. Can i use this turn of events to leverage that decision ie can i ask them to change my deal for free?
My thinking is the information provided back then formed the basis of my decision. If its wrong my decision may have been wrong. The reasonable solution would be to allow me to make a new 'right' decision.

An estimate is not a contractual term, merely a guide. As interest rates fluctuate over the term of the mortgage.
You would have choosen your mortgage on the headline product rate. Not on possibly charges over a 25 year period.
So the argument holds no substance.0
