Tribunal has offered Judicial Mediation - pros and cons?

Hello -
I have submitted a Tribunal Claim for Unfair Dismissal and Disability Discrimination. I have attended a Case Management Discussion and a Hearing date has been set for the summer.
I have been asked if I want the option of Judicial Mediation. I don't know!
I have been unable to get legal assistance (tried the union, tried a no-win-no fee, both refused to help). I don't want, or need, the stress of a full week's hearing - but I do want some admission of fault from my old employer, and compensation if that is possible. Could I get this through opting for Judicial Mediation?
Any answers and advice gratefully accepted!

The answer is yes - if both parties agree to it then you may get either or both. Or nothing.
There's an easy to read guide at http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/productsandservices/practicenotes/judicialmediation/4548.article#jm2_1 which will save me repeating it all!0 -

I've read it and yes, that seems like a good option to take.0
