Coop have all their frozen party food reduced to 49p each, they were previously £1.99 or 3 for £5. Some of the bits I bought were dated as far as jan 2013! I got mini pizzas, tempura prawns and Indian selection amongst others.
I was at a the Shirley Southampton branch but was told it was happening at all coops. So fill up if you have freezer room

Yep can confirm huge reductions in our store and the stock was flying off our local stores shelves, they also had onion bargies for 25p a box, not bothered about dates as it freezes well. KP peanuts and bombay mix 50p a bag as well.
many thanks op:D0 -
Great! I shall get DH to take us out to our local later. Thanks for the tip off OP.0

I shall pop into our local tomorrow. It's not very large though, so I'm not holding out too much hope. Ta for the heads up though

Doh! Having read this I got frozen (home-made) meals out of the freezer to make space. Then m-i-l turned up and mentioned not to forget we'd put some discounted food in her freezer ahead of Christmas and I called hubby to say to bring a couple of packs of meat from it when he came home from her house. Then he turned up with the whole lot - and now the freezer is full again so no space for whoopsied party food (in time for sons' birthdays and hubbies) after all! Grrrrrr!!!0

Found them!! There was a freezer full in the big co-op in town. Duck spring rolls, cocktail sausages, Indian selection, chocolate eclairs. Lots to choose from and mostly 49p or 50p. Have tested the brownies for you all and can confirm they are definitely worth the money."A savoury muffin?? As if life wasn't disappointing enough!" Miranda0

Our local only had the cocktail sausages, 50p. They had a few bags a couple of days ago, I only picked up one bag, when I went in yesterday, they had one bag left and it was open, so not sure how many of the sausages were missing, so didn't buy it. That's all they had unfortunately.0

I went for a walk today as not working til next Monday! I went into the Co-op which is part of the Texaco petrol station. They had the 49p boxes of duck spring rolls and the mini Indian selection. Didn't buy these as already have a box of the mini Indian selection.
But I bought 2 boxes of their own biscuits for cheese. 250g box for 43p. They were amongst the normal biscuit section. I think these were £1.99 to start with. As they had a 200g box of Jacobs mixed selection of cheese biscuits and they were £2.19
I would suggest to you guys to concentrate your searching on Co-ops attached to petrol stations and village Co-op stores.0
