S!!!!horpe & North Lincolnshire - free stuff
- Just a reminder that there is an online recycle goods exchange for S!!!!horpe & North Lincolnshire area
- So you can put stuff there instead of in the bin
- get the link from the directory here http://ilovefreegle.org/groups/yorkshire-humber
(as of course the stupid MSE autocensoring thing blocks the name S!!!!horpe)
- For myself I set the options so that I get a digest email everyday ..lot's of reasonable stuff like beds, TVs etc
- The system is well set up, with an obligatory thankyou post, after you have been to the posters house and collected the goods etc. so that helps to stop carbooters take advantage of people.
- another thing : Free Leafshine
if you have an office full of plants that need polishing, I see Brian's Christmas & DIY megabarn in Brigg has a big box full of Leafshine bottles and a sign saying "Free help yourself"
bye

- Oh I should mention the massive Sunday market at Hemswell ex-airforce base as many local people aren't aware of it.
- For me it beats shopping at malls like Meadowhall..there's some really fantastic deals on near to the sell by date cakes & chocolate etc
- The first 33% is carboot stalls, but you have to be there 9 ish as things go, and if rain is likely people leave early
- The rest is normal stalls and antiques
- It's located north of Lincoln 4 miles south of Kirton
- They finance it by charging £1 a car for parking
and charging stall holders : carboot £8 car, £12 van, new goods stalls £12-£15
