By the way, do you know it's 1506 minutes until the 25th when I can update my signature
My CCCS statement was ready today. First one, so happy to bring down the total a wee bit at last! Maybe worth logging in and checking it?0 -
I'm hoping one of you 'geeks' can help me. What do you use to do your spreadsheets? I've got excel but is there a template or software I can get to make it easier? At the moment I'm copying the budget list I did for CCCS and am changing the amounts to whatever I spend that month. It's not really working though because I'm completing it after we've spent it instead of being able to see what's left to spend. I'm hopeless at this!0

Yep mine is there too but I don't update my signature until I can actually see the CCCS payment in our online accounts plus have updated any added interest etc on the CCCS website.

I did a basic spreadsheet, but I've brought a mid year diary, and then can update each page daily, as for me I have 5 lots of money going in at different times, - so can plan the incomings in the dairy.
Then I have an a4 folder, - start the month with whats left from last month and add all incomings outgoings on there, even if my bank says I have £50 available to spend and my folder says zilch i know my folder be right.
Sounds daft but your find a method thats best for you x

Might be next week before I make that happen, as I have 'holiday brain' at the moment! :rotfl:
Thanks
I have found the compass website. It does say they specialise in bad credit history but typical interest rate for mortgage is 8.7%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was peed at 5%, oh my!

HH can you explain please about the monitoring variance? This is appealing to the geek in me.:D
Hi
If your food shop is £40 and your budget is £38 then the variance is £2 to find
If your fuel bill is £70 and your budget is £80 you have £10 in credit over.
£10 - £2 means you are still £8 in credit for that month, phew
Use same principle over time to see if the individual items eg fuel and food budgets are set at the right level. If variance is over then a) change behaviour to keep in budget or b)increase budget in that particular area. Just helps to keep on track
Hope that helps. Personally any number crunching helps to keep me in control and focussed on the goal.

I was a rebel and updated 6 hours early.
Victory of sorts with BC, my complaint was investigated, 2 months interest reinstated and £50 for inconvenience, interest zero again for now.
Fab news but I had to update my spreadsheets and projections, chore.......:)
