    Hi everyone

Hi Spendaholic chick - I'm an evening poster today :) I do like posting before work but it doesn't always happen that way...

I had a bad start to the day today - bus driver gave me the wrong weekly ticket so I had to go to the depot to get a refund and then re-buy the ticket I asked for in the first place. Then I had to go to get passport photos, which cost £5!!! And then it stole my fiver! So then I had to call an 0845 number from my mob and then it just asked for me to leave my details and they'd contact me within 7 days. I want my fiver back!!

On the +'ve dfw things front:
    - Had brekkie at work with my emergency stash of muffins I keep in the freezer ;)
    - Got the first month of my new phone contract for free following my complaint :T
    - Call utility company from work when they are open, not using mob or house phone :p
    - Leftovers for lunch
    - Called mum with included mob mins and not from house phone
    - Didn't go for a drink after work
    - Easy night at home tonight - got baked spuds in the oven to go with leftovers and then going to sit on the sofa and watch TV

Going to OH's grandparents on Friday night - they're giving us their old sofa :j Bit of money saved until next year hopefully :)

Take care everyone and Happy Birthday niksyg

    hi, small things are:

    checked banking,
checked ebay (bids on 5 of 7 items hurray)
    NSD.
Instead of parking car in John lewis and "window shopping" whilst kids at their dad's for tea (too far to drivr home after dropping them off, before I have to pick them up again) which costs £2 in parking and tempts me to spend, I parked round the corner, and knitted! plus managed to get through to orange to cancel my add-on internet bundle and to my old hose insurer to stop them rolling over the contract.
    daily clicks
need to check who is my water supplier. and see if I can knock that down a little again.
    :AA/give up smoking (done) :)

My husband as also just laughed at me for getting excited because there was 15 chicken fingers in a box where there should have only been 14. That's what you really call a small dfw thing.

    fantastic! I love this!!!!

Right I have missed the small things crowds today. So what I have done.....

Worked hard at my job today
    Cheap jacket pots for dinner
Put a blanket over me and avoided the eating
    Homework with the kids
Been checking the organised mum sit everyday waiting for the calendar I always get to be reduced- finally today it has. £11 down to £5. We haven't had a calendar for 11 days but worth it for a saving of £6 :D
Last thing to do....watch Sherlock Holmes with
    OH under a warm duvet

I hope you had a great time DNMS and that you enjoyed your day off stitchy. I keep meaning to check out your FB business page

Perni - I wish I could get to bed earlier too - I do often go upstairs at about 10, but my 2 daughters take forever to get ready...eldest (14) is at her most chatty then too and comes to life at night;) I could happily be tucked up by 9 but they look at me in disgust if I try:D

Haha I don't have that excuse though, just always have things to be getting on with at the moment. Cannot wait to go on honeymoon so I can just relax! Lol.

I went away to a spa at the weekend, which I had been saving for all year. However, I was poorly and had to come home early :( All the girls are going next year again. However, think I have made the decision I'm not going to go, not because I was ill this time, just because I want to use my money for something else. As lovely and relaxing as it is there. Sorry, don't know why I rambled on there, just made me feel better writing it down :)

    Thanks for 'listening'

    J x

Just a thought, but how much do you guys save up for your spa trip? Lastminute regularly do spa deals so it might be worth suggesting that to your friends, just thinking it'll save you all money but you don't miss out then :)
