I bought one before Xmas for £24 but it's now gone back up to £49 -
I think it's a better buy if you live somewhere rainy, as there's a flap over the zip

Never thought fo that about the flap - good idea.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

Just spotted these while looking for jackets. They are Kangol, but look a lot like Kipling to me, and much cheaper. Has anyone here come across Kangol before? Are they any good?

Hi Scaredy - not come across the bags but sons used to have Kangol slothes and they were quite good.
The bags look nice don't they?Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

I have two Syros, and they are really good. The only thing I don't like is the divider inside, so I carefully cut mine out so they have one main compartment inside.0 -

They do look nice, and very very similar in style to a couple of Kipling bags. Will keep a look out elsewhere for these, might be worth trying. I've seen on Amazon there is another lookalike brand, a Chinese name I think. Don't know what the quality is like, though.
Been using my Fairfax (small) the last couple of days. Had it for months so too late to return it. I do like it, but have to say it's a bit smaller than I would like. The other one I was going to return is also a Fairfax in the Grey Flax (brown and teal actually :rotfl:). I can't make my mind up - really like the colour even though it's not what I thought it was when I ordered it!I have two Syros, and they are really good. To be honest, I like the idea of two sections inside, so I can separate my stuff and hopefully be in with a chance of finding something when I need it! The Syro does look nice. Is the main compartment fastened with a zip, or just the flap over the top? Amazon have a lovely eggplant one but it's over £60
Is there a Kiplings Anonymous? My name is Scaredy and I'm a Kiplingaholic

Pleased to meet a fellow Kiplingaholic
The one I want most is the leather Defea - Defea is my Kipling favourite - my winter one is a Galaxy Green
Fairfax is a good second :T
In QVC's Outlet stores the Kiplings are roughly about ½ price
Got a Fairfax with Symi purse yesterday for £24

Yes I'd seen those but not tried them.
Re your Fairfax being too small for you - why not sell on Ebay? I like buying from Javari now as they have 365 days to return items.
