trouble finding a job due to disability

  • This may be a long shot in these times of low recruitment levels but I know that HM Government departments when recruiting usually operate a Guaranteed Interview Scheme for applicants who have state they have a disability on their application form.

The Civil Service has it's own recruitment website / portal

Worth a try, you never know....:)

I should point out that the Guaranteed Interview Scheme only applies if you meet the essential criteria for the job. It isn't a guaranteed interview if you don't.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance but if you are on alot of morphine what jobs do you feel capable of doing that you enjoy?

That way you maybe able to work out in which direction to go education/job wise.
The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

Given the amount of posts you have here I would proffer that a desk job sat at a PC wouldn't be beyond the realms of your abilities. :)
