IVA effecting ex partner?

I broke up with my partner but still have an interest in a property together that is rented out.
I am looking at an IVA to help with mounting debts but want to find out if it will effect my ex's credit file?
points i think that may or may not effect the answer....
- All the debts are personal debts to me only in my name
- All joint responsibilities, mortgage, council tax are paid via our tenant and up to date and are not included in the IVA
My Ex has been told that regardless of all the debts being mine because she is financially bound to me through the mortgage it will cripple her credit potential too?
Is this likely? I did go for a free consultation with an advisor who told me it would have no effect on her at all as they were all my debts?
any advice greatly appreciated
