  • I've just bought the Cleanse & Polish and after using it for two days I'm totally in love with it! I do have a long-winded question, though:

The reason I bought the C&P was that my old skincare range (Vitamin C by Virgin Vie) was leaving my face feeling quite clogged. I felt that the cleanser wasn't doing anything but sitting on top of my skin. I was using an exfoliator almost every other day because my whole face was flaky and just never felt clean. I have combination skin, with very dry/sensitive cheeks, so I had to stop that pretty quickly!

So here's my question: what products, other than the C&P, would you recommend? I'm concerned that the normal/combination skin moisturiser won't be enough for my dry cheeks. My mother has thread veins on her cheeks, and I'd quite like to avoid that if possible! I'm okay with using multiple products (I'm used to it!).

I would recommend the Intensive Nourishing Treatment if you are looking to use something from the same range. You smooth it on and it soaks into your skin, then after 5m you remove the excess with your muslin cloth. I find most of the skincare in the range to be of good quality.

see how you go with the normal/combination moisturiser. C&P doesn't strip your skin and has moisturisers in it so it may be that your skin won't be as dry as it used to be. If it is then Liz Earle does a moisturiser for dry skin too. (you can still use the n/c on your tzone so you don't waste it)

Personally I use C&P and spray on the skin tonic but then use Olay moisturiser as I don't love the Liz Earle moisturiser.

I have just received my first parcel from Liz Earle - cleanse and polish- and the packaging is so beautifully presented. I can't wait for tonight to try it.

My bf suffers from dry skin ( I have tried to get him to use moisturiser to no avail on his face...he does like my body massages though! ),so I'm going to treat him to the New Men's Try Me Kit and I'm going to try the orange blossom body wash and order some more muslim cloths.

I will report back tomorrow morning. And it smells divine.

Beware of ebay! I've witnessed many Liz Earle products going for more than you can buy them direct.

Yes I agree. There is also an LizEarle outlet on ebay, but I would rather pay full whack. Muslim cloths BIN for £5.25 and £3 P&P. No thanks!

After a while you end up with more muslin cloths than you know what to do with. I've started selling extras on ebay now.

Ahhh! I received 2 with my first order, but that isn't enough as I do my whites once per week. I have ordered 6 more, but giving my bf 3 of them for his 'hot' shave! Can't see much of a difference between the towelling and muslim cloths.

    Thanks for the tip though.

I order the 200ml C&P from Liz Earle without cloths, it's cheaper and I have enough muslin cloths to be going along with.

I just buy a large square of muslin from my local linen shop and cut it up. I get 9 squares for less than £2 that way!

I love the C&P. started using it about a month ago and my skin is so much better! Wish it hadn't taken me 29 years to find it :D
