Got the following email, and each time i 'register an interest', i get a foboff saying you dont match their needs blah blah..
the online pre-call check is about 10 questions long, and i am starting to think THAT is the survey - Has anyone actually got a call from them, to do a telephone one??
....
I am writing to advise you about a project for which Saros is currently recruiting; based upon the information you gave us when you registered with Saros you may be able to take part.
The project is about business professionals and the technology you use and involves taking part in a 60 minute telephone interview between January 18th and January 29th 2012. All sessions are during the day or evening. If you are selected to participate you will be offered £190 as a thank you.
General eligibility is as follows [nb SPECIFIC eligibility will depend entirely on the answers you give during the screening process and are not stated here]:
You must be aged 18+
You must not work in advertising, market research, journalism or PR
You must not have taken part in research during the past 6 months, nor must you be booked to do so shortly
If this applies to you and you would like to register your interest in participating please click the button below, to answer a few quick questions.
Please note that this webform is a 2-minute screening questionnaire, which we will use to determine whether or not you are part of the targeted audience our client wishes to consult. We call potentially eligible participants back in order of receipt of response, and conduct a telephone interview to establish exact eligibility for the research - at which point your participation will be confirmed and full venue details supplied.
If your details do not match our client's requirements we shall endeavour to let you know as soon as possible and thank you for your patience.

I've not had an interview either. Have had a couple of surveys to test my suitability, and one of them was really long. I'm not sure either. Will await answers to say otherwise with interest.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Good to know someone has actually got through to do a group…
OP – try code3research as well, they have things in London and in the rest of the UK and I recently did one with them on biscuits. They were lovely and really nice to work with – would recommend.
I’ve been with Saros for about 6 months and don’t reply to all the invites now, it’s a bit frustrating to never get anywhere… but even if you do 1-2 a year they’re really great earners. Shame they’re not more frequent!0 -
I have done one group for Saros in the last year.
Their criteria is a lot stricter than many of the others out there, and they are probably one of the best known survey companies out there.
Considering most times each group only needs 8 people or so, and they probably have 100's maybe even 1000's of people to choose from.
Saros are quite clever, they can collate a lot of information from their 10 question screener, and they get that information for free.0 -
I lived in central London up until last Easter and received invites regularly. Over the past years I have attended many focus groups all paying very well. I think location has a lot to do with the selection. Since living up North only received one invite which was in Manchester and too far for me to travel.SallyD0
