  • Which is really selfish of you. That means another individual who won't get the voucher.

I bet if you picked up a paper which had the coupon ripped out, you'd be straight up complaining about it

I reckon they'd actually purchase that copy as well.........there's no need for this!

  • I'm hopefully soon going to be looking for employment rather than self employment as I am doing now and I am seriously thinking of getting a job in a newsagents.Am I right in thinking that at the end of the day all the papers that haven't been sold go back to wherever they came from? Would anyone ever notice if a few little coupons had been snipped out? Maybe Crocker could answer that one for me or on the other hand do you think it would get me the sack?
  • We always used to take any relevant freebies or vouchers out off returns and never had anything said.
:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A

Really? OK... let's do the Maths...

    10 vouchers @ £4 each = £40 in vouchers

    Price for 10 newspapers = £4.50

    Let's examine the post:
Or £0.50 for £40 worth of vouchers if you rip one out on way round tesco
    10 x mails

If the voucher is to be ripped out and bought in the same transaction, you will indeed be paying 50p for 10 papers, but will leave the store with £36 in vouchers.

So, by saying 50p for £40, you were implying that you would obtain an extra 11th coupon from somewhere - the post says "10 x mails" which confirms there is no 11th paper being bought here.

    Hope you understand now :)

If the voucher is to be ripped out and bought in the same transaction, you will indeed be paying 50p for 10 papers, but will leave the store with £35 in vouchers.

So, by saying 50p for £40, you were implying that you would obtain an extra 11th coupon from somewhere - the post says "10 x mails" which confirms there is no 11th paper being bought here.
