Strange money-making ad on the BBC website?!

Hi all,
I had read that the BBC were considering adverts on their World Service, but I didn't know that they had also started on their main news website - is this true, or might my computer have some sort of virus?
The reason why I am immediately suspicious is because the advert says "UK mum turns £20 into £5000" and then links you to an article here at "webnewsweekly <dot> com/uk/" (copy & paste that as the URL if you want to check it) it also has people posting at the bottom - some asking if it is real and others assuring them that it is. The click through on the "Home Income Cash System" link takes you to another website delightfully entitled "24 Hour Cash Connection".
All of this sounds a) too good to be true and b) very likely to be a scam, but why on earth is is being advertised on the BBC website??? I found it be clicking on BBC News, then England and in the top right of the page is a box that says "Ads powered by Pulse 360".
Ideas or comments anyone??
Thanks loads,
Cathy:)

Hi again,
I have been searching the BBC website about whether they put adverts on the site or not and have found this:
I’ve seen commercial advertising on the BBC website – how do I provide feedback on this or get help with issues related to the advertising?
The BBC puts advertising on its website for users outside the UK. We use the income to help fund BBC services and keep the licence fee, (paid by UK households), lower than it otherwise would be.
If you're experiencing an issue with video advertising on our site, please contact us using the web form.
If you've seen what you believe to be inappropriate advertising on our site, please read the FAQs for advice and details on how to let us know.
If you're experiencing technical issues related to advertising on our site, please contact us using the web form.
If you live in the UK and can see advertising on the BBC website, please read the FAQs for information and how to get in touch to let us know."
With regards to UK adverts it says:
"The BBC puts advertising on its website for users outside the UK. We use the income to help fund public services and keep the license fee lower than it otherwise would be. We try to make sure that the advertising is only visible to people outside the UK, but if you're viewing the website from within the UK and you can see advertising, please use this form to let us know."
I have completed the form and will post the outcome. I am hoping that it is a glitch with their system and not a problem with mine!!
