Sorry if this is in the wrong place.I receive alerts from Equifax for changes in my credit file,the latest ones are from the electoral roll,it doesn't say why they are looking but it does say annual load,have you any idea why they would be looking or what annual load means?

I had the same alert this morning.

I assume it's the councils updating electoral role information.

Maybe but when you fill in the annual electoral form isn't that how it's done?

Again, I assume they have an annual load of the information. Either way I'm not worried about it.

I just had an email to about an ER update

Its the annual canvas of the electoral roll (which is published from 1 December) being uploaded on to the equifax database. Which tends to be January each year.
