Change of title

Hi,
I'm in the process of changing the title from a joint mortgage into a sole one.
My ex-partner (not husband so no divorce etc) is becoming increasingly hostile and impatient, stating he will get solicitors to force it to happen.
Legally, does he have any right to make the c.o.t happen? I know it's up to the mortgage company, but with him stating he wants to use solicitors I just want to find out what rights I have.

I'd like to see his solicitors force your lender to offer you a sole mortgage if they don't want to.
His solicitors must be REALLY good.0 -
I guess what my main question is, is there anyway he could legally 'force ' me to sell or complete the change of title?0

Expensive to do. But your ex could apply through the courts for the property to be sold.
In the eventuality that it did. Without a defence to the application, highly possible that costs would be awarded against you for wasting the courts time.0
