Would it be ok for me to set up separate accounts as I don't really want to use my normal accounts for comping. Or would these be ruled out as it would be obvious they weren't actual accounts?

Facebook forbids this in its terms of service. It's possible to use your normal account without your friends ever knowing, by tweaking various settings (if this is your objection), and of course you can hide all the bumf from your newsfeed. I use my normal account and neither I nor my friends find it invasive.

I'm not sure about Twitter - I only use my account for comps so no worries there.
  • Thanks for replying. What settings should I change so my friends dont see me entering 100's of competitions?
