Homemade Washing Up Liquid
Comments

I dont make it as i find Aldi washing up liquid is cheap and good but i would think adding more soap flakes and less water will thicken it up.0

Table salt. Once i pour my homemade into my old fairy bottle I add a tablespoon of table salt and hey presto.
Was missing the bubbles though so find if you actually add 10% of bought washing up liquid this makes as much bubbles as you would normally get.
I know adding the shop bought adds to the price but that with the salt really makes this recipe and may make people feel like they are using the stuff they are use to.0 -

If you are adding washing up liquid, do you find you need the grated soap?
I am going to give this a try, your version as I like the idea of it being closer to what I am used to, seems very easy and if I can get away without having to grate soap (horrible job), even better

I find this very thin, does anyone thicken their, or indeed does it need it?
