DMP and affordable payments

Hi All,
I've oftened "called in" here and found some really good info' but i'm now signed up to post, woo hoo! Anyway, I've got quite a bit of unsecured debt, mostly credit card, amounting to about £43,000, £17,000 being on 3 cards issued by the same credit company. I've done all my figures and realsitically and comfortably, I can pay back £300 pm.
Is this a reasonable amount, and have I got a chance of it being accepted. I don't want to go down the IVA route unless I have to, and bankruptcy fills me with fear as I don't want to lose the house !
I know it will take a while to pay it and I'll ramp up the payments if I can.
Any similar stories gratefully received.:j

I owed £32k at worse and am paying £308 per month, but have got a CCJ to my name. CCCS can advise you of the allowed budgets for each area of your live so you know how much you should be paying.0

We started at less than that pm. But, it just depends on how it stands in relation to your household income. Have you done the debt remedy tool on CCCS - you can do it anonymously and is a great starting point.
