Can i change my sign on date due to interview?

I have an interview on the day i sign on for jsa, my interview is 10am and my sign on is 2pm. Its going to be a pain to get there at 2pm cos my car is due for an MOT and i cant drive any of my family members cars because im not insured and their all busy at that time so cant take me. Can i just ring up and say my interview is in the afternoon..or will they ring up my interview place and check the times etc? What is the best thing to do?

Wont that then make the car illegal? :P
  • I think that you need to provide proof that you are attending an interview so they may not agree to it if your interview is in the morning and your signing on is in the afternoon, give them a call and explain the situation but they may say no.

The only other alternative is to book your car in for its MOT before your interview/sign on day

Only if the OP has left it until the last possible day to get the car MOT'd!

I'd move the date of the MOT, or take a taxi or bus to the sign on at 2pm.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
