I will play catch up tomorrow with my posts but today I have

Shopped at Morrisons and didn't overspend :D

Put a £1 in my party tin :D
Put a £1 into my 'Stash The Cash' tin :D

    Hi,

Hope you don't mind if I jump in. I've been lurking for a little bit and I think I have a vague idea how to do this (I hope :o). I like the idea of calling things 'positive steps' instead of 'things to do', it makes me want to do them as a way of moving forward in life, not just because they need doing. I've only got 7 things today, I'm afraid. Then again, 7 is the most magical number. :D (Potterhead here, sorry, couldn't resist. :rotfl:) So here they are.

    Today I aim to:

    Shower. Done.
    Wash pots. Done.
    Wash bedding. Done.
Drop off catalogues confirming when I'll deliver orders (I'm a Betterware distributor). Done.
Drop off at least 50 normal catalogues.
Drop off application form at Morrisons (Betterware doesn't exactly pay all the bills).
Look through contents page of one Uni textbook and pick a chapter to read. Done.

I'll check back later with what I've done.

  • Hi all, sorry I've been missing for so long. I was on holiday, got back on 7th June, had a bbq on the saturday, then hospital on the monday and went up to Bradford for 4 days for my sortofmums fathers funeral, then we had friends over saturday night and a lazy day yesterday. I'm back for a couple of days then I'm in hospital on wednesday for my ear operations/investigations. It's Mr S's birthday on Thursday so I'm getting everything sorted out today and tomorrow, as I won't be up to much on the day itself. Am hoping to go out for dinner on Friday night though as I've arranged it with his friends as a surprise so I really hope I feel up to it!!

    Todays list:

    wrap presents :)
    post various items
    leave ebay feedback
    shower, dry and straight hair
    view 2 properties this evening
get quotes for fixing Mr S's laptop (oops, I broke it last night!)
    do some washing

I think that's it for now. Hope you all have a great day x

It feels like mini challenge time........

We always seem to get a good wee boost of motivation with our mini challenges don't we? As several of us are finding it difficult to get the ebay mojo out i thought we could try a mini ebay challenge for this week! What do you think?

The challenge is a simple one - set yourself a target for the number of items you want to get listed on ebay by the end of the week (ie Sunday) and lets all get our ebay mojos working for us again :)

My personal challenge is to get 200 items listed this week :eek: Its not as difficult as it may seem as i do have several multi item listing items but it will certainly stretch me to do it all the same! :rotfl:

Ahhhhhhh my face looks like my avatar pic already LMAO!

    Hey everyone

Back from hols, happy and rejuvenated. Had a fabulous time. Had a great weekend too so going to list my steps from then

    Weekend
Went to main po to collect signed for parcel :)
Went to local po to post OH ebay stuff :)
    Visited niece :)
Nipped into town for a CD :)
Drove to Blackpool in driving rain, near miss with a man who skidded across all lanes into hard shoulder :eek: Came to a grinding halt 5m away from him, shaking like a leaf and promptly burst into tears :o Was very pleased with my quick reactions in missing him though :T
Saw Elton John in concert :j:j
Did 4 loads of washing and dried outside :)
Went to big sis with all family and trawled through a whole suitcase of family photos and momentos from when we were kiddies, was sooooo lovely and a great way to spend the afternoon :T
Took great niece to park :) The best things in life truly are free, she is an absolute joy to be around even if she is a strong minded little madam ;) Much like me :rotfl:
Had a very long, lovely chat with mum, resulting in me going to bed at 1.15am

So today I had a good first day back at work which deserves a smily in itself :)
Folded all dry washing and sorted into piles. Put everything away that could be put away :)
Chatted with friend on phone :)
Went for a nice walk on my dinner :)
Hung a load of washing out :)
Ordered great niece a cute little pair of hi top pink trainers in the sale :)

Hoping I can hang onto this positivity as the week continues, its nice to be back posting again.

    xx
