Did you sack them? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (joke... I think!)
Really glad you're back - and not run off with a coffee shop owner in Istanbul. Sounds like you've had a productive few months with the flat, and also some lovely breaks (green with envy). Did you progess a btl in the end?
I am hoping to be at £160K by 31/12 so maybe we could have a (friendly) race? Frugal fast sounds great, I would be up for it when start mat leave in a couple of weeks (until then, whatever gets me through). And I have a pile of stuff to ebay which is taking up the baby's room too

I'm glad you're back, Toots - I've missed you!
Not good on being recognised... - but good they've now gone.
Well done on continued progress
We've compiled a HUUUUUGE list of stuff to do on our house - and a slightly smaller one on our BTL... any money here is going back out swiftly!! Well I am thinking about HOW to get back on track as I have had the spendiest of spendy six months and I am not in control of my money. So I am back in the old ways and am going to list my spends every single day. This may be a shock to regular readers but the listing does stop me spending quite as much!
Back later with today's, no doubt fairly shocking total.0 -
Hey toots good to see you back

Glad you havent run off with a coffee shop owner- tho that would be a fab and lovely story too!
Well done on the weight loss- fantastic!
Looking forward to seeing your totals and your MF journey continue0 -
I am starting properly tomorrow as today I spent £16.01 W***rose, £6.98 in the W coffee shop, £97.09 in TK Maxx, skirt, blouse, 2 X bras and a shopping trolley. I shouldn't be allowed out! A quick calculate reveals that I have £138 until the end of the month which doesn't sound too bad. 18 days to go so that is £7.60 per day the May challenge is on.0

And £15 upgrade to 1st class on a very full train with no seats in 2nd, BIG SIGH, now we all know why the mortgage isn't going down.0

OK, more positively I have filled in my expenses which will be £177, I have won £25 on my premium bonds, and I have received £382 refund from over paid rates.
I therefore made an over payment of £407 before it all got swallowed in excess shopping. Hopefully my expenses will come in a week or so and that will mean no over draft this month which is another positive step. I have spent £37 this week i.e. in the last two days and I need to work out what that has been dribbled away on, back to a proper spending diary I think.0 -
Looking forward to daily reports of spends...
