With a forth coming marriage, does anyone know if one parties debts then becomes the others debt after they are married .

No, they don't. You are still each only responsiable for your own debts if any.0

Totally agree with hovellady. The only way debts become joint is if they are as a joint appliction on a loan or mortgage etc.If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Agree with the others, we have been married for 11 years and have 16 debts between us, only 1 is a joint one and thats our overdraft, the others if anything happened between us would be whoevers name is on the credit agreement responsibility to settle.If you want the rainbow you have to go through the rain.
