I would like to make more puddings ( both sweet and savoury) as the family likes eating them
.
I have a couple of microwave pudding basin with a lid but would like to get a proper one.
Any advice on where to get nice and cheap ones and what do I need to cover the top?

I have some lovely enamel ones which I got from Lakeland, at a sensible price, but obvioulsy being metal these are not suitable for microwaving with. It depends what I am cooking as to which lid I use, sometimes an upside down side plate does the trick, steamed puds get greaseproof and foil lids, foil on it's own is good, and for putting stuff in the fridge, again a small plate or my OH uses clingwrap. I can't stand the stuff myself, but each to their own! HTH x. Will find a linky for you ....:jMoney saving eco friendly Fertility reflexology specialist :j0

Of course, they don't sell them anymore, would you believe it? But I found some similar ones for you at Amazon here:
